Laboratory tables, both island and wall-mounted, can be equipped with various versions of extensions. The extensions provide additional storage space for small laboratory equipment, especially where there is little worktop space.
Top units can be fitted with one or two shelves (so-called low or high top units). Standard heights of top units: h=500 mm - low top unit, h=750 mm - high top unit. Other top unit heights may be ordered.
Standard versions of the extensions:
- column extensions - Metal extension columns powder-coated with chemical-resistant paint, extensions fitted with shelves made of laminated board, safety glass or phenolic resin. Optionally, shelves are of the "gutter" type, with an edge to prevent items standing on the shelves from accidentally sliding off.
- pole extensions - Supporting structure made of 25×25 mm sections (aluminium or steel powder-coated with chemical-resistant paint), extensions equipped with shelves made of laminated board, safety glass or phenolic resin.
The extensions can be fitted with electrical sockets as standard in IP44 splash-proof casing or with an electrical power strip. In the columnar tops, the IP44 electrical sockets are located in the columns of the tops, while in the pillar tops they are fixed to one of the shelves. In each version, additional lighting can be mounted under the shelf.
