Exhaust chambers (series: 80,100,120,150) are part of the laboratory equipment. They make it possible to create independent, separate workstations, e.g. in areas of unpleasant odours or excessive evaporation. In their simplest version, they can serve as a shielding element for a laboratory balance. If air is blown into the chamber and an overpressure is created, the space inside the chamber can be protected from the influence of the atmospheric conditions prevailing in the laboratory room.
Depending on the intended use, the construction of the chamber is made of various materials (powder-coated steel sheet, stainless steel, laminated board). The sides of the chamber are glazed as standard. The extraction chamber may be manufactured in a version with a lift-up window or with a top cover, and has the possibility of connection to ventilation (ventilation spigot).
